Wing-Assisted Human Flight

Jumping out of a plane is not an event that would be worthy of note in a technology blog, but jumping out of a plane with a jet-powered wing? That’s hot. Yves Rossy did exactly that. The good thing about it is that it’s well-documented, as you can see in the video below.

Notice how he spins out of control and still manages to act completely calm about it? You have to wonder what it would take to cause him to panic. And before you ask, there’s no word on whether the flight kit is going to go commercial.
