Every year thousands of gadgets hit the market, and for some reason or another some of the better devices end up overlooked or overshadowed by inferior competition. Maybe it’s better marketing, maybe it’s brand loyalty — whatever it is some of the best products on the market go largely under our radar.

AskMen.ca has put together a fantastic list of the top ten gadgets that were overshadowed by their competitors this year. If you’re in the market for a new phone, camera, or computer this year you should really check this out before buying the big names.

The list even offers up a worthwhile alternative to the Amazon Kindle. I’ve been dying to get my hands on an e-reader. and with Kindle being a US-only product right now I thought I was out of luck.
