Tokyoflash Negative
Cellphones, PDAs and portable media players are just some of today’s modern devices, but what about yesterday’s? It’s easy to imagine that at some point in the past, wristwatches were considered trendy and those who wore them were using cutting-edge technology.
It takes a bit of magic to make them look more attractive these days. Consider the Negative Watch from Tokyoflash. It’s an LCD timepiece that tells the hours in reverse (hence the name). Prepare to read between the lines with this one, folks.
As with many other Tokyoflash offerings, reading the time is going to take some practice and skill – the Negative represents time in negative space (hence its name), where unlit squares on the screen depicts digital numbers, which brightly lit squares around create an optical illusion effect.
It’s available in silver and black, both at a pricey $158 USD.
