Take Google Earth And Sink It

If you set aside the privacy issues for a moment, these days when you say “Google”, you mean “search”. If it’s online, Google will find it. It even managed to bring those queries into 3D space with Google Earth and Google Maps, allowing users to look for locations and plan out those trips with relative ease.
There’s a buzz going around that the search engine giant is looking to expand its services even further. Considering that it’s already bringing us terra firma, what else can it possibly show us? Space? Not quite, but considering that most of us haven’t explored it, it might as well be.
The tool–for now called Google Ocean, the sources say, though that name could change–is expected to be similar to other 3D online mapping applications. People will be able to see the underwater topography, called bathymetry; search for particular spots or attractions; and navigate through the digital environment by zooming and panning.
So if you fancy diving down to the depths below, this might be the closest thing you can get without leaving the comfort of home.
