Storage Goes Simple & Sexy
Back in the early days of DSL and cable internet, I’ve always told my friends that when they switch over to any of those two and leave dial-up behind, they’re next issue is going to be hard drive space, specifically the lack of it. Not surprisingly, that hasn’t changed, which is why storage options always catch my eye. Considering the design of LaCie’s new USB drives, you won’t be the only one staring at it. Product specs are as follows:
- Capacity: 1 TB
- Interface: Hi-Speed USB 2.0
- Rotational Speed (rpm): 7200
- Cache: 16MB (2 x 8MB) or greater
It’s solid hardware that’s simple yet elegant. I really like the sexy black look. If your rig is similarly colored, then having this next to it is going to be sweet. No word on pricing yet, but you can check out the product page below for complete specifications and other information.
