The Sony VAIO Type G notebook has a 12.1″ XGA screen, and features Intel Core Solo 1.2GHz U1400, 80gb HDD, Intel 945GMS Express graphics, and a fingerprint reader, 802.11g, Bluetooth, PCMCIA, and multi-card reader.

Currently, the VIAO Type G laptop is considered the lightest laptop around, and it has and impressive 12.5 hour battery that was hopefully made by someone other than Sony.

You can expect to see the Sony Vaio Type G available in Japan starting December 2nd, and it will be priced at 220,000 yen ($1,881 USD).
