Small Form Factor PCs Ready To Serve
The last time we talked about military-style hardware it was way back in May. Here comes another round of gear that’s meant for the kind of roughness that only people in the service can provide. The Stinger 553 is a small form factor PC that looks like it was taken from the game Fallout.
Hailed as a rugged tactical small form factor PC, the box you see pictured above measures just 5- x 5- x 3-inches and is built to MIL-STD-810F and MIL-STD-461E environmental standards and MIL-STD0704E power supply voltage standards. For the layperson, that means it can withstand an almost ungodly amount of vibration, dust, humidity and sandblasting.
It’s powered by an Atom CPU, 2gb RAM, 128gb SSD and 8 USB ports. I can’t figure out how you’re going to plug the interface devices, but you can check the product page for that.
