Robot Replicas For Serious Cash

If you happen to be more serious about your toy collection that anyone else or if you’re a die-hard Star Wars fan, then these life-size models of the series’ most famous droids are for you. For a hefty sum, you can own replicas of R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Due out later this year, the authentic figures are powered by lowly AA batteries and have working lights. They also make sounds from the movies and utter the characters’ classic catchphrases, like “beep” and “whistle” and “OVER HERE!”

R2-D2 costs $5450 while C-3PO will hit you for $5950.00. You still have some time to save before they become available. While there’s no definite release date, they’re expected to come out on the third quarter of this year. I scanned the product pages extensively, but I’m unable to find any guarantees that owning these two will raise your midichlorian count.
