Reviews: MSI Wind
We’ve been keeping an eye on the MSI Wind for quite a while now, so it’s inevitable to get the review. How does it compare to the MacBook Air? Is it even fair to pit the two against each other in the first place? Well, the Gizmodo review doesn’t mention it, but it does compare it against the ASUS EEE 901.
I’m not sure that mini-notebooks are for everyone, but I do like where the niche is heading with bigger screens and more storage without much added weight, size or cost. And the Wind definitely represents its class well in these respects, helping convince us that maybe one day we won’t need laptops that are so freaking huge.
It looks good, and the price doesn’t sound too bad at all, considering the performance. If you’re looking for a laptop and your requirements aren’t too demanding, give it a look. Who knows? Maybe you’ll even like it.
