Reviews: Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000

Here’s a review of the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. How do I know it’s not a fancy product? Because it doesn’t have a fancy name. Does that spell doom for this mouse already? Let’s see what the conclusion says:

As a desktop and laptop mouse, the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 doesn’t err much in categories we feel are important for computer users. It has a very comfy ergonomic design, albeit for righties only, that welcomes both fingertip and palm grips for mouse control. It has a sleek design, two side buttons, and has an advertised six months battery life. There’s no fussing around with a wire either, as this baby is cordless.

ExtremeTech gave it a 9 out of 10, a very solid performance from a $50 USD mouse. The scroll wheel does not click, so it might seem a bit off if you’re used to hearing that particular sound. Other than that, this plain-sounding mouse doesn’t have any jarring flaws, so give the full review a good read if you’re looking for a new pointer.
