Reviews: Dell Studio Hybrid
When it comes to workstations, small-form-factor PCs present a neat, attractive solution for those who want to conserve space and still get the production essentials covered. Another entry in that arena is Dell’s Studio Hybrid, which gets its name from the fact that it’s energy-efficient and environment-friendly. How does it fare? Here are excerpts from the review:
There are more-powerful and more-expandable choices out there if you’re less concerned about design, especially at the sub-$1,000 price point, and you’ll have to look elsewhere if you want expandability. Though the design is the most notable feature, it’s a good PC—especially for the space-constrained user.
Read that? It’s a “good PC”. Combined with the fact that it’s “green” tech, you’ve got quite a contender in the small-form-factor category. Of course, the price point isn’t going to do it any favors, so we’ll just have to see how well the Dell Studio Hybrid does on the market.
