Review: MacBook Air, 2nd Gen

Apple created waves of excitement when it first announced the MacBook Air. With its sleek and thin design, it made a lot of people drool. It also made air travel inconvenient for some people, if you can recall. The new MacBook Air is out. Is it better? Should you upgrade? Here are excerpts from a review:

Having said that, if you don’t think you need the ultimate in thinness and style — and to my eye, this really is the ultimate in the looks department — do yourself a favor and check out the new MacBook while you’re comparison-shopping. Sure, it’s chunkier — compared with the Air, just about everything is — and heavier at 4.5 lb. But it’s faster, offers more storage and is more expandable. Oh, and it’s cheaper.

So if you’ve been delaying that inevitable notebook purchase, this is something you should add to your list. Actually, with the holidays just around the corner, you can expect this to be on everybody else’s list, so if you wait too long, you may have a hard time finding it.
