Review: Lenovo S10 Netbook
Today’s post is about another case of attention-grabbing headlines. This time, my eye fell on a claim by Wired, which said that the Lenovo S10 is the “best Netbook we’ve seen all year”. What can I say? The statement got me hooked. Here’s the verdict:
WIRED Amazing combination of price and performance. Sophisticated, decidedly non-toy-like styling. Touch-typing is as easy as it gets in this category.
TIRED White laptop, white power brick, black power cable: Epic design fail! Some trouble getting USB hard drives recognized. Sub-two-hour battery life and slightly dim screen are letdowns on an otherwise near-perfect device.
The big surprise is the price: $469 USD. In comparison, the popular ASUS EEE is available at $600, so the S10 isn’t doing too bad at all. Hit the source for the full review.
