Review: Gunnar Optiks Computer Glasses

hm_03.jpg

Gizmodo has a review of glasses that are supposed to reduce the strain on your eyes caused by prolonged exposure to computers. Before you dismiss it as a bogus claim, here’s the verdict:

…when we donned the specs after we already had pain in one or more of our eyeballs and/or a headache, we found that the Gunnars really did work to take away the discomfort. We didn’t put them on and lie down either; we sat in front of our five-display setup and did full-on blogging.

The price varies, ranging from $99 to almost $200 USD, but the important thing here is that it does work for them. If you suffer from headaches caused by computer usage, you may want to give it a try. I’m not at the point where blogging actually begins to hurt, but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to get there anyway.
