Next Internet Explorer Feature Could Be Adult-Oriented

Let’s face it, when it comes to getting porn, the Internet is the easiest source. A couple of years ago people were limited by bandwidth and technology, so it was easier to get pictures than videos. These days, with streaming content readily available online, it’s becoming easier and faster to gain access to whatever suits your fancy.

However, there’s the aftermath. Since the browser is the primary tool, there’s a need to clean up afterwards. Histories, cookies, temporary files; they all have to go if you’re sharing the computer with other people. Normally you’ll need a program to do that, but what if Internet Explorer itself did your cleaning for you?

…there are rumors floating around that they may incorporate a private browsing feature, a.k.a “porn mode,” similar to Safari (Firefox pulled the feature from 3.0) that would allow users to thoroughly cover up their smutty tracks from anyone who might be checking their browsing history.

“They” means Microsoft, so we’ll see if this will actually push through. After all, how are they going to market a feature like this?
