New MacBook Can Be Used For Gaming
When it comes to testing PCs or laptops, there’s really only one thing that I use as a baseline: gaming. If a computer is as powerful as its advertising says it is, then it should be able to handle the latest games with very little effort. The recent Core 2 Duo-powered Macbook has raised a few questions as to whether Apple has finally created a portable gaming machine or not. Here’s a summary of how it fared against Warhammer Online:
In person, there was no pixelation during game play, just a few jittery moments when I had the texture mapping graphics set to their highest and most detailed. These were very few and far between, however.
The article points out that the new MacBook is certainly impressive, but I wish I could say the same about the quality of the video. Maybe it would’ve been a better idea to use another video service instead of YouTube.
