Mozilla finally released the next version of its popular browser Firefox. Version three features improvements in performance and in the user interface. If you’re a fan of Mozilla’s open source browser, then you’re going to have to wait a while since the latest word is that the download servers crashed. That’s some demand, folks.

Much of the browser’s underlying infrastructure has been improved and redesigned. The long-awaited Places system, which was originally planned for Firefox 2, reinvents Firefox’s history and bookmarks storage mechanism.

And that’s just one of the things that were modified for this version. You can browse the source for the full details of Firefox 3.
