Man Sells His Life On eBay
It may not be you, but some people like taking a crack at themselves through self-deprecating humor. Done correctly, it’s not only worth a few laughs but also lets others know that you’re aware of your faults. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses is a key thing in business, if not in life, if you believe your corporate training.
Speaking of life, there is some humor to be found in the statement “I have no life”, a phrase usually indicating the non-existence of one’s social life. I don’t know if that’s what happened in this case, but a man from down under is selling his life on eBay. No, I’m not talking about selling his possessions, his house or his car. The man is literally selling his life online.
Ian Usher, from Darlington, who emigrated to Australia six years ago, is selling his house, friends and job on internet auction site eBay.
The 44-year-old said he hoped to earn about £185,000 for his Perth lifestyle.
