Light Up With The Zippo Blu

The lighter’s about as simple as you can get. You run your thumb along the ignition and you’ve got a flame. Its core design is simple yet nearly eternal, having survived years of very little innovation because it really doesn’t need it. Zippo wants to put a little twist into your standard lighter by making it look different. Sure, it burns the same, but these days it’s always form over substance.

Now Zippo has entered the 21st century in the same way with the Zippo Blu.

The Blu’s name comes from the color of the flame, which is fueled by butane instead of liquid lighter fluid, but otherwise all the Zippo hallmarks are intact: The flint wheel ignition, the hinged lid and, most importantly, the Zippo click.
