LG Launches ‘Art’ Line of Home Appliances

You fret over every design detail in your home and yet when it comes to buying a refrigerator the style choices are oh so mundane and minimalist. From the garden variety whites and blacks to the fingerprint-nightmares of stainless steel the refrigerator was clearly in dire need of a style lobotomy. To the rescue comes LG and its new ‘Art’ line of home appliances. Seung-rim Ha, a famous Korean painter was sought out to design floral patterns for this new line of side-by-side refrigerators and washing machines. In addition to artwork, LG has also surrounded the patterns with Swarovski crystal to give it a more refined and elegant appeal. It’s not at all surprising that LG would be the leading company blazing the art trail for home appliances. LG recently broke industry records winning 20 red dot Design Awards this year. The refrigerators come in two colours, a relaxed snowy white, and a warm rich red that is sure to spice up any kitchen.
