HP Firebird 803 Details Leaked

HP wants your desktop computer to look flashy. It’s time to take away that plain-looking tower and replace it with something that resembles a console, hence the HP Blackbird 002. Of course, PC gamers aren’t all about looks. They know that it’s all about what’s inside. Here’s what you can expect:

  • NVIDIA nForce 760i SLI chipset
  • Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800S cards
  • Two 320GB SATA drives
  • Blu-ray
  • 5-in-1 card reader
  • 6 USB, 1 FireWire, 2 eSATA, 1 S/PDIF and 1 DVI dual-link
  • Bluetooth
  • 802.11n WiFi

As you can tell from the specs, don’t think that you can max out the graphics settings on Crysis with this one. If you’re not too demanding on your visuals then this will serve just fine. While it certainly looks very appealing, there’s also that nagging suspicion that the unit isn’t expandable. It certainly doesn’t seem like it, so be prepared to hit that snag when the parts go out of date. Hey, if it looks great, then why not, right?
