With the availability of the MSI Wind, comparisons between existing laptops are inevitable. However, few of them will come as close as the MacBook Air. After all, with both names referring to a state of matter, similarities are bound to be found in other aspects as well. Which one fares better?
Verdict
All things considered, it’s a draw. The Air is faster, nicer to look at, easier to use, and is ideal for passing around via internal office mail — but the Wind has its advantages too. It’s super-affordable, can keep up with the Air in most performance terms, and is the more flexible machine.
Sounds like it will boil down to a matter of preference if budget isn’t a concern. Of course, the MacBook Air brings instant brand recognition, which might be worth the extra money, depending on whether you’re trying to earn some street cred or not.
