Google Gets Its Own Browser With Chrome

Google has been the dominant search engine for a couple of years now. Its simple, ad-free approach to search on the main page has proven to be attractive to users. And even though the ads are present in the subsequent results, they’re unobtrusive.

A representative for a competing search engine once said in an interview that they were unintentionally sending business to Google by giving their users inferior search results. Of course, this wasn’t done on purpose, it’s just that Google’s results were far better compared to theirs.

I remember that today because it looks like the search engine giant is going to get even more business by releasing its own browser. Here’s the scoop:

On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn’t the browser that matters. It’s only a tool to run the important stuff — the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.

Get ready, folks. Google Chrome is set to be released tomorrow, so there’s no dramatic wait for this one.
