Gmail For Google Desktop

If you’ve got your Gmail integrated in your life so much it’s hard to imagine how to live without it, then make it a part of your desktop. Google has finally made it official: the Gmail gadget is here. If you’ve got Google Desktop for Windows, then you can add Gmail to it and make access to your email a button press away. Right now, it’s going to require a bit of downloading, but think of the ease of use later on.
On the Google Desktop gadgets team, we’ve seen countless requests for a Gmail gadget over the years. That gadget is finally here, so if you’ve got Google Desktop for Windows, give it a try.
You’ll see that it covers the basics such as reading, searching, and sending messages. You can star messages, use the same keyboard shortcuts, and we didn’t forget about contact auto-complete.
