Gain Absolute Control With Synergy2

Synergy2 Configuration with Linux and Windows XP from Off The Broiler on Vimeo.

For those of you who have a home office or are simply fortunate enough to be able to afford multiple systems and monitors at home, there’s a nice little open source application out there that can make them more manageable. Sure, KVM switches allow you to change from one desktop another in a split second, but wouldn’t it be better if you could centralize the control somehow? You can, with Synergy2.

Synergy2, an open source project, is a cross-platform KVM (Keyboard, Mouse, Video) server for Windows, Mac, and UNIX operating systems. It can either act as a Server or as a Client.

Not only does it cover multiple computers, but it supports different operating systems too. Read the source link for the details on how you can set it up.
