Force Feedback Goes Nearly Full Body

If your gaming experience feels a little detached, that somehow the graphics and audio aren’t enough to stimulate your senses, then here’s a solution you might want to consider. The MindwireV5 is a device that attaches five pads to yourself, which then provide force feedback to the body part you put them in.

It works ‘out of the box’ with most current PS2, XBOX and Gamecube games, PC games which support force feedback, and next generation consoles in certain configurations. The Mindwire-V5 uses similar technology to existing TENS machines and Muscle Toning devices. The device is battery driven only, and incorporates layers of safety features from its conceptual design through to its hardware and software, to provide a safe user experience, as well as conforming to all applicable European safety standards.

It’s more than a couple of years too late since the consoles the MindwireV5 supports are all last-gen. However, if you fancy beating yourself up a bit to get a little more kick out of your force feedback-enabled games, then you might want to give this a shot.
