DIY Pinball Coffee Table
I can’t think of anything that sums up the spirit of gadgetry more than a do-it-yourself project. A friend of mine is seriously considering undertaking this endeavor — it’s a coffee table made from the playfield of a pinball machine. Here’s how the whole thing came to pass;
It was inspired by a bar in Seattle called Shorty’s, which has tables similar to these in its booths. My girlfriend and I both love pinball. We met at a pinball convention, and we both regularly attend pinball events and tournaments, so this was the perfect gift for her as well as being fun for me to build.
Who wouldn’t want one of these in their living room? The whole process of building one has been painstakingly detailed by it’s creator on instructables.com. Now if only they’d make one that was fully functional…
