Deadline Passes, No Word From Microsoft & Yahoo

Remember the 3-week deadline that Microsoft gave Yahoo!? It’s up. So what happened? Nothing. Well, nothing that we heard anyway. Both sides are keeping mum about what went on, what’s going on and if there’s anything going on in the first place. You can probably guess that the Internet is rife with speculation regarding the matter. Excerpts:

Steve Ballmer addressed his troops in a hastily called town hall meeting earlier today, in which he very deliberately said nothing new about Yahoo. “I report nothing. I got nothing to say today,” Ballmer said, according to Silicon Alley Insider.

Jerry Yang has said even less than Steve Ballmer, and there have been no new reports of white knights in shining armor riding in to save Yahoo’s hide.

I’m keeping a close eye on this one, so if any new developments arise, they will be posted. For now, the drama is killing me.
