CES Review: LG Watch Phone

One of the more talked-about gadgets unveiled at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas was the LG Watch Phone. LG has released watch phones previously, but this year’s version is the first watch to offer a feature-set that is close to being on par with a smartphone.

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of the watch phone concept. In many ways, it almost seems like an ‘old’ concept despite the fact that we are only starting to see watch phones hit the market in recent years. Maybe it reminds me too much of the ‘calculator watches’ of the 1980s, but I just don’t see people giving up their smartphones and iPhones in favour of wearing it on their wrist. Am I wrong? Do you want a watch phone?
