Spy movies are among the primary proponents of turning ordinary objects into weapons. Perhaps the Italian mafia saw more Bond movies than most because police recently uncovered a gun disguised as a cellphone over there. It’s convenient, portable and ultimately deadly.

A gun disguised as a mobile phone has been discovered by police in Italy.

Fully loaded, the gun’s capable of firing four shots in quick succession through the antenna using buttons on the keypad as the trigger.

The gun was discovered as part of a raid against the Camorra, a Naples-based mafia. You have to wonder what kind of crime the gun could’ve been used for. After all, even if you manage to conceal it as a weapon, it’s still going to make a big bang. I wonder what they could’ve used for a silencer.
