BMW Product Navigator Uses Microsoft Surface

Microsoft Surface is one of tech’s new innovations that I keep an eye on. While its multitouch capabilities have serious potential, there’s always the question of practical application. What kind of real-world scenario would require its use? BMW is seeking to answer that with the BMW Product Navigator, a Surface-based tool that will allow users to customize their BMWs.

As you can see, it’s pretty robust. You can customize paint schemes, interiors and then view them in 3D later on. If you need more time before you make a decision, there’s always the option to take your choices your home with you. As a product demonstration, it looks great. As a practical application of Surface, it’s even better.
