ASUS Launches EEE Stick

In case you haven’t noticed it yet, the difference between blogging and reporting is that writers are given more freedom with the former. We can add snark and poke occasional fun at what we’re posting about without the usual objectivity that’s the norm with straightforward reporting. Of course, the downside is that the same freedom that we have might make us look less credible, so we have to strike a balance in between.

I told you guys about that because ASUS new controllers for the EEE and EEE Box is making me struggle with keeping a straight face while writing this. Short of throwing accusations, its designs with the peripherals are heavily borrowed from a popular console. Actually, “heavily borrowed” in this case could be an understatement. They say “it translates users´ physical hand motions into corresponding movements onscreen”. We say “Wii”. It’s going to bundled with the Eee PC as well as the Eee Box, which is a million miles away from what I thought you were actually supposed to use the Eee PC for.
