ASUS EEE To Get More Battery Life

ASUS has been reported to be creating a “whole-day” battery for its EEE netbook. There’s also this thing about bringing the same time period of Internet storage to it, but your guess is as good as mine when it comes to determining what exactly that means.

According to the report, Asus expects to bring “whole-day” battery life and Internet storage to its Netbook by the end of the year. I’m not sure what a whole day’s worth of online storage amounts to, but presumably it’s more than the 20GB you get now with the solid-state hard drive in the Eee PC 1000.

By default, I would assume that a “whole-day” would mean 24 hours, but will this battery last that long? There’s also the question regarding what you would do with it. After all, netbooks aren’t exactly high-end machines, so once your work and browsing are done, what will you do with the additional hours?
