Apple Sends Invites For Laptop Event
Apple. Laptops. Two words that, when combined, are enough to send the Internet abuzz with speculation regarding what the news will be.
Apple issued invitations today for an event next Tuesday on its Cupertino, Calif., campus that will tout laptops.
“The spotlight turns to notebooks,” the invitation sent to reporters read. The only other information Apple provided was its 10 a.m. PDT kickoff and driving directions to the building where the company will hold the event.
The said spotlight has been so focused on netbooks lately that everyone seems to have forgotten their bulkier, more powerful big brothers. So, what does Apple have up its sleeve? We’ll find out soon enough. Like I mentioned in the intro, a lot of people are keeping a close eye on Apple ever since the invitations were sent, so we’re likely to hear more speculations before the actual event takes place.
