If you’ve done any traveling lately and you brought a laptop with you, then you know how much of a hassle it is to get past airport security. To ease that pain a bit, the Transportation Security Administration has worked together with case makers to create laptop bags that are compatible with airport scanners. How compatible? You won’t have to take your notebooks out to know why.

Happily, the TSA has recognized these issues, and began working with case manufacturers in March on a standard for checkpoint-friendly laptop bags that can pass through the security scanners without your having to remove your notebook.

So now we’ve got good-looking laptop bags minus the hassle of taking their contents out. Hey, that’s one less thing to slow you down at the airport. That’s always a good thing.
