120 GB iPod? Seagate Hopes So

ipod_hd.jpgSo there is still no iPhone yet, but there are rumours about something even cooler: a 120GB iPod.

Engadget found some comments in Business Week from William Watkins, Seagate’s CEO, saying that they have a 1.8 inch 120GB hard drive coming down the pipe, and it will be ready for December, and as such it would be perfect for a new upper capacity for the iPod with video, as they have been stuck at a maximum of 60GB since Fall of 2004.

I think they’d have to work on the battery capacity first, as I can’t even watch two gigs worth of movies on the iPod before it needs a recharge.
